Howard spent his entire Major League Baseball career playing for the Philadelphia Phillies from 2004 to 2016. During this time, he became one of the greatest power hitters in Phillies history, holding numerous franchise records, including most home runs in a single season and most home runs in Phillies history. Howard was also a three-time All-Star, won the 2005 National League Rookie of the Year award, and was named the 2006 National League Most Valuable Player. He helped lead the Phillies to five consecutive National League East division titles from 2007 to 2011 and to a World Series championship in 2008.
