Players in the top 70 will also play but have already clinched their cards for the new season. Max Homa returns to California this week, aiming to become the first player since Steve Stricker (2009-2011, John Deere Classic) to win three straight editions of the same tournament. He finished T9 at the TOUR Championship and ended the season with five top-12 finishes. Sahith Theegala will also be teeing it up at Silverado this week.
