The John Deere Classic has had some fantastic finishes in recent years, with five of the last 11 champions being first-time winners on the TOUR. J.T. Poston returns this week and will attempt to successfully defend his title from 2022. Poston has finished with three top-10’s this season but hasn’t managed to turn these performances into a victory yet. An in-form Denny McCarthy will also be teeing it up this week after finishing T6 last year. He’s finished P2-T20-T7 in his last three starts and has nine top-20s in his last 15 events. Adam Hadwin will be in the Quad Cities after losing out to Rickie Fowler and Collin Morikawa last week in the playoff at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. His T12 finish at the RBC Canadian Open a month ago paired with his performance last week will give him confidence heading to Illinois.
