Eight of the world’s top-nine players will tee it up, as Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa, Xander Schauffele, Will Zalatoris and Viktor Hovland are all in the field. Scheffler, fresh off his win at THE PLAYERS Championship, returns as the defending champion. After successfully defending at the WM Phoenix Open in February, he will be hoping to continue his run of form with another successful title defence this week. Meanwhile, Min Woo Lee, who was in the group tied for sixth at TPC Sawgrass, is teeing it up on TOUR again. He was in the final pairing with Scheffler at THE PLAYERS and is inching closer to earning Special Temporary Membership while being firmly in the mix to earn a TOUR card via the DP World Tour Ranking at year’s end.
