The Frenchman turned in the A521’s first laps on Wednesday morning, less than 24 hours after the rebranded Alpine squad had unveiled its updated challenger for the 2021 F1 season.
Ocon completed 16 laps of Silverstone’s grand prix layout - in line with the 100km testing restrictions for shakedown events - as he put the car through its paces for the first time ahead of the new campaign. We have to wait until see Fernando Alonso driving the new Alpine Car as he still recovering.
