In the third round of the 2024 Valero Texas Open, Jordan Spieth pulled his drive left on the par-5 18th hole. After his second shot ended up near a drainage ditch, Spieth hit his third into a gutter atop the TPC San Antonio clubhouse, allowing him to take a drop. Spieth then hit his fourth shot onto the front of the green and three-putted for a double bogey.
