As we head into a record-breaking 24-race, 2024 season - a lot of the immediate reaction to the news of Madrid's addition to the calendar lent far more towards lamenting the loss of the legendary circuits of the past, ones with a certain greatness that many fans feel does not extend to the modern street tracks.
