The Utah Jazz defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 96-91 tonight in Game 6 of the Western Conference First Round to win the series 4-2. Donovan Mitchell finished with a playoff career-high 38 points (playoff career-high 5 made 3pt FG) for the Jazz; Mitchell becomes the 2nd rookie in NBA history to score 20 points in each of their first 6 career playoff games (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 1970), as well as the 4th rookie to record 35+ points in a playoff series-clinching win (Wilt Chamberlain – 53 points, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – 46 points, Magic Johnson – 42 points).
